($50; a 50/50 blend of cabernet sauvignon and malbec) Bright, deep ruby, Blackberry, blueberry, cassis, licorice and bitter chocolate on the fresh nose. Superconcentrated and very ripe, with juicy acidity cutting the wine's creamy texture and giving it good lift. A very successful blend, with the cabernet energy showing to good advantage today. In fact, this is downright flashy right now. Finishes with broad, serious, but smooth tannins and excellent length.
