($55) Vivid ruby. Ripe cherry and dark berries on the nose. The palate shows fresher red fruits, with a hint of blood orange adding vivacity. Much more energetic than it showed from barrel, finishing with very good lift and persistence and impressive clarity.

Still Bold and Beautiful
Had this with grilled venison chops with mushroom demi-glace. Just lovely. big nose of red and purple fruits, forest floor and road tar. Intense palate of ripe, sweet purple and red fruits. Utterly; smooth, long finish. Superb. 95+ points from me. Should be good for another 10 years, but I'll bet mine doesn't last that long!
Fresh From the Bottle - WOW
This wine was awesome. Very full, silky smooth. Very full taste.. Had to hold back from just drinking it down. Will buy more.
Just as it should be
Tried a bottle last night and was knocked out! Straight out of the bottle the wine was delicious and smooth - for lack of a better term, the word juicy came to mind. All one would expect in a CdP was there - in spades. I can't wait to try it with other dishes (last night was mushroom risotto) although this wine is absolutely delicious on its own.

Bold beautiful CDP
This is a really big wine with a nose full of kirsch and road tar. Dense, righ fruit on the palate. There are some tannins but they are not intrusive. Cries out for grilled meat. I plan to hold the rest of this for at least a year because I'm sure it will be even better then, and I hope I don't drink it up too fast. I'd give it 95 points.
Awesome wine for about $40. Will be buying more!
What a stunning Wine! How can a bottle of wine get any better! Truly Amazing from Wine Access!
I only bought four bottles!!! Is there more?
Ever since Parker’s ratings came out, we’ve been buying up 2007s. Little of what we’ve bought is of this quality at under $40.
Love the wine. It was like silk flowing down the palate.A very good choice
Good medium fruit, very structured with a good mineral content, finish goes on and on. Almost too good to drink with food. I had to search online to find more!!
Better to consume in 2012
True to its promise; worthy of drinking.
2007 Chateau de Vaudieu Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Mild with a bit too much sweet fruit.
This was extremely disappointing. Perhaps it was a poor bottle, and I will try another, but this wine was remarkably closed, there was almost no aroma when this was in the glass, even after an hour or so. It was very surprising that this was so dead, compared to the 2007 Domaine St Pierre which was supple, delicious and a wonderful value. I am a big fan of Châteauneuf and Gigondas so this was not what I was hoping for.
About Chateauneuf du Pape
The Rhone's Chateauneuf du Pape has been one of the hottest categories of the new millennium in the American market, thanks in equal part to the nearly candied ripeness and full-bodied, chewy texture of these wines and to an unprecedented string of four consecutive very good to outstanding vintages between 1998 and 2001.
