92-93 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2010

($33) Saturated ruby. Perfumed bouquet of red berry and cherry compote, dried flowers and smoky herbs, with an exotic hint of apricot. Juicy, focused raspberry and bitter cherry flavors are lifted by tangy minerals and given depth by a licorice note. Packs solid punch but carries no excess weight. Finishes brisk, pure and mineral-driven, with excellent staying power. (Rosenthal Wine Merchant, Pine Plains NY
