Glass-staining ruby. Exotic aromas of boysenberry and cherry-cola, complicated by apricot, dried flowers, smoky oak and anise. Impressively concentrated dark berry preserve flavors are complemented by floral pastilles and succulent herbs and show no obvious tannins. Becomes more liqueur-like with air and finishes with a strong echo of white pit fruits and licorice. Impressive for its sheer volume but this will manhandle almost any food it comes up against.
