($75) Medium red. Exotic, enticing nose throws off notes of apricot, grapefruit, mango and mint: not your everyday Brunello! Then sexy, fresh and penetrating, with strong acidity accentuated by firm minerality. Intriguing and idiosyncratic, in a distinctly northerly style for Brunello.
