Fleshy, supple and sweet, with deep red and dark berry flavors and a jolt of candied licorice. Finishes with solid grip, chewy texture and excellent thrust, echoing the vanilla note. Built for the cellar-or give it at least an hour in a decanter and serve it with a hunk of grilled lamb. (The Australian Premium Wine Collection, www.tapwc.com.au)
