Bright violet.  Exotic, high-pitched aromas of black raspberry, cherry-cola and lavender, with a zesty mineral overtone.  Taut red fruit flavors give way to deeper blackberry and cherry in the mid-palate; shows silky texture and appealing spiciness.  The mineral note comes back on the long, focused finish.  I'd bet that this wine will age well on its balance.
