($87; 85% tempranillo, 10% graciano, 3% garnacha and 2% "others") Glass-staining ruby. A highly perfumed bouquet exudes redcurrant, cherry, smoky minerals and flowers, with exotic spice notes gaining strength with air. Juicy, palate-staining red fruit flavors are lifted by zesty acidity and complicated by notes of succulent spices and sweet chewing tobacco. The mineral quality repeats strongly on the finish, which is impressively focused, pure and persistent. This wine's finesse is noteworthy.
