($28; 20% new French and American barriques Bright ruby. Racy, floral-accented aromas of red berries, minerals and spices, with a strong note of white pepper. Sweet, seamless raspberry, strawberry and spice flavors display very good intensity and a distinct juicy quality that's reminiscent of pinot noir. Finishes with silky, harmonious tannins and good cut, repeating the spicy notes.
