($85; aged for 29 months in all French barriques, 50% new) Good full red. Captivating, subtle aromas and flavors of raspberry, minerals and brown spices. Tightly wound and very young, but with terrific intensity and supporting structure suggesting a long evolution ahead of it. The serious tannins dust the front teeth but this fine-grained and highly perfumed wine already offers considerable sex appeal.
