Good medium red. Cherry, red licorice and pungent herbs on the nose. Supple, sweet and silky but with very firm acidity contributing to an impression of spine. The red berry and spice flavors are complicated by fresh herbs, flowers and a wild element of underbrush. Finishes with substantial round, building tannins and a serious structure. Very suave, classically dry Barolo.
