Subtle yet alluring, never overpowering, but prominent

Full coloration with moderate color gradation, deep garnet. Black cherry and blueberry nose, little white oak. Under ripe blueberry and blackberry compote palate, alcohol prominent but integrated seamlessly within 30 minutes of aeration; sandalwood and anise in the mix here. Finished short, dry, very dusty tannins with white pepper - like sitting in an arroyo biting a candied blueberry in a wind storm.
