90 Points | International Wine Cellar , June 2009

($23; 100% aglianico) Light, bright red. Sour cherry, blackberry, licorice and rose aromas are complicated by a botanical herb quality. The wine's bitter cherry and succulent herb flavors remind me of Campari, and are firmed by a tangy berry skin quality. Quite rich, with powerful finishing notes of dark fruits and licorice. This needs to be served with assertively seasoned foods or pungent cheeses. (Michael Skurnik Wines, Syosset, NY)
