Inky ruby.  Seductively perfumed nose offers scents of candied dark berries, vanilla and spicecake, with a hint of cola that gaining strength with air.  Sweet and broad in the mouth, with ripe but energetic cassis and cherry compote flavors complemented by vanillin oak.  Lingers with very good tenacity, the dark berry and vanilla notes echoing.  This clocks in at 15% alcohol but I don't sense it.
