94 Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 2009

($165; 100% tempranillo) Glass-staining purple. Heady aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, incense, potpourri and smoky minerals. Lush, creamy and deeply concentrated, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors complicated by candied violet and rose and a strong mineral quality. Impressively balanced for its richness and power. Finishes with strong cut and lingering sweetness.
