($75) Light gold. Lemon, orange, creme brulee and smoky minerals on the nose, with notes of vanilla bean and musky lees adding complexity. Pliant yet sharply focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors expand with aeration, picking up deeper papaya and marzipan qualities. The finish repeats the mineral and lemon notes and hangs on impressively. This has the depth and balance to repay another four or five years of patience.
