About Bethel Heights Vineyard
A family operation through and through, this Willamette Valley vineyard has been run by the Casteel—Dudley—Webb family conglomerate since 1977. It’s a testament to the possibilities of cooperation that 11, yes 11, family members are currently co-owners of the vineyard. There is also a profound respect for the environment here. Ted Casteel, one of the vineyard’s founders, also co-founded the Low Input Viticulture and Enology certification program for sustainable viticulture.

($25) Yellow-gold. Honey, peach and apple on the nose. Fleshy, gently sweet orchard and pit fruit flavors are braced by zesty acidity and pick up a hint of spun sugar on the back. Deeply concentrated, and powerful enough to handle rich foods. Finishes with good cling and punch.
