($75) Bright ruby-red. Blackberry, bitter chocolate and spices on the nose, with some intriguing soil notes. Supple, spicy and sweet on entry, then suave in the middle if a bit aggressively grapey in its flavors. Dominated by its rather serious, chewy tannins today.
