($50) Opaque ruby. Powerful aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, smoky minerals, lavender and Indian spices. Deeply concentrated, palate-staining dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are framed by chewy tannins and pick up strong spice and floral notes with air. Still quite young but already expressive, finishing with lingering notes of sweet dark berries and candied flowers.
