($29) Palish medium red. Strawberry and raspberry preserves on the nose, with notes of dried rose, pepper, herbs and cinnamon. Open-knit, sweet red berry flavors are given a bitter edge by a note of cherry skin and show no tannins. The raspberry and spice notes repeat on the pliant, juicy finish. Packs a punch but the texture shows a pinot-like delicacy.
