($19) Deep ruby with a bright rim. Spicy dark berry, cherry-cola, licorice and flowers on the nose, lifted by a peppery topnote. Pliant and rich but primary, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors and gentle tannins. Building notes of cracked pepper and licorice cling to the nicely persistent, sweet finish. This is drinking well now.
