($26) Bright ruby. Spicy blackberry and cherry on the nose, with notes of vanilla, cedar and mocha coming up with air. Lush and creamy but a bit undifferentiated today, offering sweet dark fruit flavors and a broad, velvety texture. Still rather primary and in need of a few more years of aging to gain nuance. The finish is smooth, sweet and nicely persistent.
