($50; 75% syrah and 25% grenache) Vivid red. High-pitched, aromatic bouquet of red and dark berries, sandalwood, rose and a deeper note of black cardamom. Very fresh and energetic, offering sweet raspberry and boysenberry flavors enlivened by tangy minerality. The red fruit element gains strength with air and carries through a very long, juicy, focused finish. "My southern Rhone wine," Jensen said.
