(100% tempranillo, aged for 18 months in American and French oak and bottled unfiltered):  Deep ruby.  A complex bouquet evokes ripe cherry and plum, with cedar, tobacco and mineral accents.  Juicy and focused on the palate, offering gently sweet red fruit flavors and a suggestion of bitter chocolate.  Tangy and linear on the finish, which shows very good intensity and power for the vintage.
