2007 Backsberg Estate Pinotage Kosher Paarl

Good full medium red. Enticing, high-toned aromas of strawberry, spices, pepper and sandalwood. A juicy, nicely delineated midweight, with fresh red berry flavors complicated by light pepper and smoke notes. Offers an open-knit, even creamy mouth feel, but comes across as light on its feet. Finishes with a light dusting of tannins.
