($38) Dark purple. Dark berry preserves and cola on the nose, with complicating notes of licorice and sassafras. Sappy blueberry and cherry-cola flavors stain the palate and show very good depth, picking up an exotic floral quality with air. This lush, velvet-textured wine finishes with strong cut and a sneaky note of mocha.
