About Soter Vineyards

Tony Soter made his name with Cabernet Sauvignon in California at Spottswoode, as well as with his own Etude label. ($32) Dark red. Raspberry and cherry aromas are complemented by fresh rose and baking spices. Light in weight but deep in red and dark berry flavor, with good back-end spiciness and clarity. Finishes with good cut and lingering red fruit notes. This is very easy to drink.
