($76) Bright ruby-red. An intensely perfumed bouquet displays black raspberry, star anise, potpourri and minerals. Lively but concentrated red and dark berry flavors are given spine by juicy acidity and gain sweetness in the middle palate. The spicy quality returns on the sharply focused, strikingly pure finish. This wine's nuanced fruit is really impressive. This finished with a low pH of 3.38 and 7 g/l of acidity.
