About Laurel Glen Vineyard
The precious 3-acre parcel that gave birth to Laurel Glen Vineyard was first planted by German immigrants back in 1880. But it was Patrick Campbell who rediscovered the plot in 1974 and set to work expanding the vineyard to its current size of 16 acres.

($16) Dark red. Brooding aromas of black cherry, licorice and graphite are less expressive today. Then lusher and more densely packed but less supple and harmonious, with a slightly disjointed quality to the acidity. Spreads out nicely to coat the palate on the lingering aftertaste. This will merit a higher score if its components harmonize in the bottle.
