About Pride Mountain Vineyards
Nestled above the Spring Mountain fog, on the Napa-Sonoma county line, Pride Mountain Vineyard sits on a former 340-acre agricultural Summit Ranch. In 1989, when Jim and Carolyn Pride purchased the spread they planned on growing grapes to sell, but soon caught the bug and built a winery.

($60) Good red-ruby. Perfumed, rather delicate aromas of plum, cherry, blueberry, spices, flowers and bitter chocolate. A sweet, juicy midweight with firm acidity and subtle flavor intensity. Suave more than powerful. Finishes with tannins that are firm but not dry. Lovely wine, and balanced to age.
