Ruby-red.  Ripe aromas of boysenberry and smoke.  Velvety-rich but not heavy, with a fine-grained texture and a distinctly savory quality to the flavors of dark berries and sweet spices.  A large-scaled wine with a fairly soft palate feel.  Finishes with broad, sweet tannins and enough structure for mid-term aging.
