2007 l'Ecole No. 41 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley (half bottle)
Producer: l'Ecole No. 41
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Cabernet Sauvignon
Origin: Washington
Region: Columbia Valley
89 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2010
($29) Bright red-ruby. Aromas of redcurrant, cherry, mocha, sweet butter and nutty oak, lifted by floral and herbal nuances. Suave on entry, then quite firmly built in the middle, with a restrained sweetness to the redcurrant, lead pencil and tobacco flavors framed by sound acidity. The persistent finish features ripe tannins that turned slightly dry with aeration. More energetic than the 2006 version, this is built to age.
