About Bethel Heights Vineyard
A family operation through and through, this Willamette Valley vineyard has been run by the Casteel—Dudley—Webb family conglomerate since 1977. It’s a testament to the possibilities of cooperation that 11, yes 11, family members are currently co-owners of the vineyard. There is also a profound respect for the environment here. Ted Casteel, one of the vineyard’s founders, also co-founded the Low Input Viticulture and Enology certification program for sustainable viticulture.

($30) Medium red. Spicy, mineral-laced aromas of raspberry and cherry, with a subtle floral undertone. Light-bodied, refreshingly bitter berry and cherry skin flavors are firmed by a gentle mineral quality, which lends back-end lift. Finishes with good clarity and straightforward sweet berry fruit.
