90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2009

($40) Green-tinged gold. Wet stone, mint, orange and yellow plum on the nose. Dry and tightly wound, offering tangy citrus and pit fruit flavors and a strong mineral underpinning. A bit unyielding initially but aeration brought up sweet melon and singed orange flavors. No excess fat on the wine!. Finishes nervy, focused and dry: I'm not sure I'd have pegged this as a New World wine.
