(15.6% alcohol):  Saturated purple-ruby.  Blackberry, violet and smoke on the varietally expressive nose.  Sweeter and more pliant than the 2008 version, offering a chewier texture and more depth of fruit, along with more harmonious acidity.  Still a tad tart and imploded on the back end.  I'd wait two or three years before pulling the cork.
