($32) Bright red-ruby. High-pitched aromas of crushed berries, bitter chocolate, licorice and aromatic spices. Juicy, dense and spicy, with a sappy core of intense dark berry flavors. Quite dry but ripe and penetrating, with a building element of exotic Christmas spices. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins. This is 15.1% alcohol but doesn't show it.
