86 points: Dense dark purple inky color. Nose woody, culinary herbs and black current.. Palate has mouth puckering tannin and character of the nose with some earthiness. Intense flavor profile ..fairly simple and short on the finish. Interesting wine made from Bonarda grape. This wine could stand up to strongly flavored foods.. I would be curious where this wine would go with some bottle age .. Decent drink for 11.95
