I drink a lot of Rhone and this is one of the best I have had in a long time and, frankly, better than some of my 05 and 06 Chateauneuf de Papes. Suprising depth, minerality and the leather/barnyard nose keeps coming.

This inexpensive red is a killer. A bit tannic at first; simply decant it to essentially age it 3-5 yrs. It pairs with almost any food...you do need food. Sit on your deck, bring some plebian vittles and enjoy this Rhone. 2007 may be the best in 30 yrs. It can last easily 5 yrs under good storage conditions.

What a nice surprise. Was not miss led on this bottle. (Not that Moore Bothers ever did.)But this is a little gem. Nice medium body wine with cherry and dark fruit flavors. Nice long finish.

Very well incorporated tannins, power without an alcoholic haze. Raspberry and currents come out with some exposure. Even better the next day after opening. Definitely above average, possibly Villages class.

Although it was very tannic at first it really softened over the next hour or so. Long lasting smooth finish. The notes from the wine access travel log, nailed it. "Beautiful deep, deep ruby color. Vibrant aromas of red and black fruit. Rich and dense on the palate. A big mouthful of dark red fruit flavors. Excellent length."
