Large New Zealand producer Kim Crawford makes a handful of wines, but the most notable is a dry, juicy Sauvignon Blancs, with perfumed notes of grapefruit, pineapple and tarragon. There's also a somewhat weightier oak-aged version, but the wood can get in the way of the wine's varietal purity. Also consider their very reasonably priced Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay.
