($75) Knockout nose and palate combine blackberry, smoke, black olive, garrigue, spices and pepper. Dense, round and opulent in the mouth, with a spectacularly silky texture to the middle palate. Finishes with sophisticated dusty tannins and outstanding palate-saturating length. This wine's superb slow-mounting whiplash of perfume (black raspberry, black olive, pepper, garrigue, smoked meat) is something to experience.
