About Bonny Doon Vineyard
Iconoclast Randall Grahm made his name as one of the original Rhône Rangers in California. When he purchased land in the Santa Cruz Mountains in the early ‘80s his dream was actually to develop great American Pinot Noir. This feat temporarily eluded him, but what he developed was a knack for lesser-grown, Mediterranean varieties.

(60% grenache, 32% syrah and 4% each of mourvedre and cinsault): Bright ruby. Raspberry, bitter cherry, herbs and dried flowers on the nose and palate, along with subtle smokiness and a touch of candied licorice. Gain weight and spiciness with air and finishes very long, with clinging cherry and bitter chocolate flavors. This wine's structure bodes well for cellaring.
