Dark red. Very ripe aromas of singed plum, blackberry, cherry and brown spices. Sweet, lush and very ripe, with a slightly roasted fruit character but also more energy and definition than the basic Barolo release. Finishes firmer and longer but without the nuance for an even higher score.
