Winemaker Eileen Crane, handpicked by Claude Taittinger for her position at Carneros, specializes in sparkling wines, and has managed the Domaine's organically farmed vineyard from the start.

(60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay; only 2% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation): Light yellow-gold. Pear, melon and honey on the pungent nose. Juicy and broad, with sappy orchard fruit flavors braced by a tangy lemon zest nuance. Finishes with good clarity and bite, leaving a bitter citrus note behind.
