About Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards
Todd Anderson's 40-acre estate, set east of St. Helena where Conn Creek Flows out of Howell Mountain, has some swanky neighbors in Joseph Phelps and Joseph Heitz. Here he produces a rich, non-malolactic Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and his heavy-weights, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve and Eloge, a deep, rich blend of Cabernet and Cabernet Franc, with superb aging potential.

Splash decanted this 2-3 hours in advance and sipped while prepping dinner. Good immediately, but really came alive in the glass. Over the course of a two-hour dinner, this wine blew me away. The bordeaux blend was a perfect match for the rack of lamb and mushroom wild rice. I could not stop drinking and savoring this terrific wine! Was initially wary I may have opened too soon, but the hunch paid off. Can't wait to enjoy my remaining bottles in the years to come.
