Great barrel-aged Tuscan!

Dark berry fruits like raspberry and cherry shine in this super-Tuscan from Marchese di Frescobaldi. But what really makes this wine are the chocolate and espresso notes that are added from its barrique aging. Along with a nice tobacco finish, this wine is pleasing at first taste and should continue for another 5-7 years. Great for grilled meats and hearty cheeses.

This is a very drinkable selection. The price makes it even better, and you can have it as your standard home drinker, or even take somewhere and feel perfectly comfortable that you have brought something quite good. Would purchase again and again, especially at this price.
