(50% samso, 34% garnatxa, 13% cabernet sauvignon and 3% picapoll, raised for 14 months in mostly new French 500-liter casks): Glass-staining ruby. Blackberry and cassis on the nose, with smoky licorice, floral and tobacco overtones. Juicy dark berry preserve flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity, with sweet violet pastille notes carrying through the finish. Nicely balanced and energetic, with a suave interplay of fruit and oak.
