($60) Full red. Ripe cherry and dark berry aromas are joined by licorice, smoky herbs and tobacco. Chewy tannins add structure to the ripe red and dark berry flavors, with a note of cherry pit lending a firm edge to this youthfully brooding wine. Finishes long, ripe and gently smoky.
