($33) Bright ruby-red. Ripe red- and blackcurrant, cherry, cured tobacco and mocha on the nose, with a suave floral quality in the background. Juicy, palate-coating dark fruit flavors are framed by supple tannins and complemented by notes of smoky herbs and olive. Gains structure with air and finishes with good smoky length and lingering sweetness. This is drinking well right now.
