Inky ruby.  Exotic perfume of candied dark berries, incense, licorice and star anise.  Sappy, palate-staining blackberry and blueberry flavors show superb depth and focus, with zesty acidity providing back-end lift and cut.  Gains sweetness with air and finishes with outstanding energy and length.
