($65) Medium red. Wilder, slightly reduced aromas of shoe polish, smoke, flint and herbs. Sweet and supple on entry, then spicy and backward in the middle, with a juicy peppery quality and a strong impression of dry extract. This very dry, tactile wine�s rising finish suggests it will reward aging.
